As part of our steel fabrication service, we run all steel through our high-specification shot blasting machinery. This process ensures that the surface of the steel is suitably prepped for painting, galvanising or applying finishing coats. Our steel shot blasting Gietart GW2508 machinery is an 8 wheel 2.5m wide machine that can process up to 30m in length at any one time. All steel is cleaned to an SA2.5 standard and improves the aesthetics of the steel components, which in turn extends the lifetime of the steel and reduces maintenance costs.
Ensuring that the surface of the steel is suitably prepared for fabrication is essential. By removing any impurities from the steel, the ideal foundation is created for coatings, treatments and finishes.
All steel is processed through our computer numerical controlled (CNC) precision machinery. This process is automated, improving the accuracy, speed and productivity of our production line.
Our team follow rigorous quality control measures throughout the shot blasting process to ensure that every piece of steel has a consistent surface texture and is meeting industry standards.
Our shot blasting service is provided by our expert team who operate a clean, safe, and professional shot blasting process.
All of our projects will involve shot blasting as a service. However, we are also happy to solely provide shot blasting if you are managing the fabrication of the steel yourselves. Get in touch with our team and we can discuss your options.
We take pride in our work and are happy to tailor our services to meet your project requirements. We’re also happy to welcome visitors to our site to view our processes first-hand. Let us know your requirements and we’ll work with you to make sure everything is completed and delivered to schedule.
