All of the energy that is used on-site is generated on-site, with there being no cap on the amount of energy we can use. This allows us to significantly reduce operational costs, as well as ensure a precise, more productive process.

Food waste ‘soup’ is delivered to site from our trusted partner Change Waste Recycling, where it is broken down and fermented to give off methane gas.
The methane gas is cleaned and deodorised before being put into the grid for general use.
Any unused gas is sent to our two combined heat & power generators to produce 2Mwatt of power on site.
By being off-grid, we can produce an unlimited level of power to our site, allowing us to operate efficiently, whilst also utilising our by-products such as hot water to our factories and offices.
